Watched a local friend play a new game called Five Nights At Freddy's, and to be honest...
I felt my heart jump straight into my skull. My friend took the brunt of one of the game's jumpscares (he was close to sobbing!) while I was on the ground with a look of panic on my face. It might seem like a boring game but trust me.
Me and my friend agreed that it was the best $5 purchase of the month.
In Five Nights At Freddy's, you're a freshly-hired security guard on nightshift at a local children's arcade called Freddy's filled with nothing but animatrons (similar to a Chuck-E-Cheese). But as you go about your duties, you soon found out that you're not looking out for any intruders...
... But (as the previous guard later states) rogue robots that will be more than happy to shove you into a mechanical body filled with machinery. As a result, you have to keep an eye out on every inch of the building through CCTV - and it's probably a good idea to have a thumb close to one of the doors' "CLOSE" button lest you want to be brutally crushed and shoved inside a robot bear suit. They thought it was best just to hire someone to keep an eye on things than to pay a repairman for the machines.
I am tempted to do an Oppo livestream of me playing this by myself, but... Either way, it's one of those good games that deserves your attention if you're in the market.
